A New Era of Grand Touring, Crafted in Italy

October 27, 2025 – Turin and Arluno. JAS Motorsport has unveiled important new details about its first high-performance road car, developed in collaboration with the legendary Italian design house Pininfarina.
Based on the first-generation Honda NSX from the early 1990s, the project reimagines the Grand Touring concept that lies at the core of the NSX’s DNA — high performance, perfect balance, and confidence on the road, yet equally capable on the track.

A Carbon Fibre Body and Racing-Bred Engineering

Styled by Pininfarina, the development of the JAS Motorsport road car is progressing on schedule. The team is now moving toward the “dressing” of its prototype, which will lead to an ultra-limited production at JAS Motorsport’s Atelier in Arluno, Milan.

The body, entirely made from carbon fibre, begins with a donor car — an original NSX chassis chosen for its engineering excellence. Available in both left- and right-hand drive, it will incorporate refined mechanical components inspired by JAS Motorsport’s decades of motorsport success, including multiple World Championship titles and over 900 race victories.

Interior Philosophy: Beauty Meets Functionality

Pininfarina’s design language continues inside the cockpit, where form and function coexist in harmony. Drawing inspiration from the first-generation NSX, the cabin reinterprets the original 1990 philosophy that emphasized a pure, direct connection between car and driver.
As Honda once declared, “A car’s true quality is defined by whether it inspires enthusiasm in the driver.” That timeless ethos lives on in this modern reimagining.

A Naturally-Aspirated V6 and Manual Transmission for Pure Emotion

Power comes from a naturally aspirated V6 engine inspired by the original NSX, engineered to deliver exceptional power, torque, and responsiveness. Paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the setup promises an unfiltered driving experience — raw, mechanical, and deeply engaging.

Public Debut in the First Half of 2026

The name of this reborn NSX project remains under wraps, but its first public debut is scheduled for the first half of 2026.
With its fusion of Italian craftsmanship and Japanese engineering philosophy, this collaboration between JAS Motorsport and Pininfarina is set to redefine the modern Grand Tourer.
