The BMW R 18 B "ground 0", produced by custom builder Yuichi Yoshizawa's Custom Works ZON, made its debut at the YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW 2023 at the Pacifico Yokohama. It was unveiled for the first time.

YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW is one of Japan's largest indoor car and motorcycle shows organised by the American hot rod custom brand MOONEYES and held every December at Pacifico Yokohama, attracting worldwide attention.

The special collaboration motorcycle by BMW Motorrad Japan and MOONEYES Japan, displayed at the YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW 2021 held at Pacifico Yokohama on 5 December 2021. On the day of the event, live painting by pinstriper took place at the venue to complete this custom vehicle.

BMW R 18 B HEAVY DUTY

Fred Kodlin is a well-known figure in the US customizing scene who has been modifying motorcycles for over 40 years. He has won various important shows and was the first non-US citizen to be inducted into the Sturgis Hall of Fame. For the first time, he has worked with his son Len to customize a BMW R 18 B, which they named the R 18 B HEAVY DUTY.

46Works Solo exhibition ‘FULL THROTTLE or Not’

46works' first solo exhibition 'Full Throttle or Not' by custom builder Shiro Nakajima, who specialises in customising BMW Motorrad and other Euro motorcycles, was held at the art gallery CAPSULE in Ikejiri, Setagaya, Tokyo, from 4 to 12 February 2023. Four BMW custom motorcycles and one Moto Guzzi were exhibited.
