This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427/435 coupe, finished in the factory colour Goodwood Green with a black interior, is the most sophisticated and attractive final year of the C2 Stingray range.1990, Pennsylvania. Fully restored by Francis Flynn, the car won the NCRS Top Flight Award with an impressive score of 98.6.

The numbers-matching 427 in3 (6,997 cc) Tri-Power V8 engine with L71 engine package produces 435 hp maximum power and 460 lbft (623 Nm) maximum torque. Its power output is no less than that of the competition-oriented L88, making it the most attractive street engine available. It is also paired with an M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission and a G81 Positraction 4.11 rear end.

Further options include a U69 AM/FM radio, K66 transistorised ignition, A02 smoked windshield and, notably, what appears to be a factory original N11 off-road exhaust system with a GM-embossed muffler. The N89 reproduction wheels are also fitted with Starburst caps.

The vehicle was sold at an RM Sotheby’s auction in Arizona on 26 January 2023 for USD 168,000.
