Lamborghini Polo Storico marked its tenth anniversary in grand style with a weekend celebration in the snowy landscapes of St. Moritz. From February 21 to 22, the event showcased Lamborghini’s historic cars, bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, and international journalists to honor the brand’s rich heritage.

The celebrations kicked off with an exclusive dinner at Balthazar Downtown, where select Polo Storico customers and collectors gathered. The next day, guests were welcomed to the Lamborghini Polo Storico Lounge, where they marveled at a stunning Diablo SE 30. This extraordinary vehicle, painted in the striking “Lambo Thirty” purple, was prominently displayed as if “flying” on the panoramic terrace of the venue, overlooking the frozen waters of Lake St. Moritz.

Adding to the spectacle, two legendary Lamborghini models took center stage on the frozen lake: the Countach “pace car,” which served as a support vehicle at the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1981 and 1982, and a Miura SV. Both cars were showcased at “The I.C.E. St. Moritz” concours d’elegance, a prestigious event celebrating automotive excellence.

Alessandro Farmeschi, After Sales Director at Automobili Lamborghini, emphasized the significance of the occasion: “In St. Moritz, we kicked off a year of celebrations that will take us to some of the world’s most exclusive locations, engaging our international community. It was truly meaningful to meet in the Alps with our customers, as we have spent the last ten years working on unique projects, certifying exceptional cars, and promoting our brand’s history.”

One of the most admired vehicles of the event was the legendary Countach LP 400S, known as the “Countach Pace Car,” which played a pivotal role in the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix in the early 1980s. Currently undergoing the Polo Storico certification process, this historic vehicle participated in a parade around the frozen lake, accompanied by a striking red Miura SV that had already received Polo Storico certification in 2018. The Miura SV, Lamborghini’s first-ever supercar launched in 1966, remains one of the most powerful and iconic models in the brand’s history.

Further solidifying its legacy, the Miura SV won the prestigious Hero Below Zero award at the Concours d’Elegance, a testament to its enduring value and public admiration.

The Lamborghini Polo Storico tenth-anniversary celebrations will continue in Rome from April 24 to 27 at the Anantara Concours d’Elegance. This international event, dedicated exclusively to Italian classic cars, will see some of the most iconic vehicles parade through the streets of the Italian capital, drawing global attention. Lamborghini Polo Storico will participate with its own stand, further cementing its role in preserving and celebrating automotive history.
